Celeste: Luminai
Land of Gems

Location: Located on the eastern half of the continent of Amayai in the north hemisphere. The capital of Luminai is the Crystal City. All the buildings are made of crystal and other gems. It sits upon a cliff above the sea and is the first to catch the light of the morning sun casting a rainbow on the plains to the west. Of course, the Crystal City is not the only city made of crystal and gems, it's simply the largest with the tallest buildings and farthest east.

Weather: Luminai has fairly mild weather. It snows here in the winter occasionally, but it almost never lasts because it is sunny so often. Summers are mild, the temperature rarely above 100° F, the average about 78° F. Spring and fall are generally cool, with temperatures hovering between 60° F and 70° F. Rain comes in short bursts throughout the year, unable to support vegetation much larger than bushes or tall grass.

The jeweled and glowing plants that Luminai is most noted for thrive in the ample sunlight and drier climate. The jeweled plants are harvested and made into delicate jewelry, among other things; while the glowing plants are often sold as lighting for homes as well as decoration.
Luminai is home to the Lumin Crystal, an object of pure elemental light created by Zaeru. It lies in the heart of the Crystal City.
The governor of Luminai is Daruku Kuyata.
